Cycle ka tyre

Cycle ka Tyre

I remember my childhood days during summer vacations when it was too hot outside, I will take out my tyre and will roll it using stick and take it approx. 1 km to my Aunt's place. I wont mind the heat at that time and only wanted to push the cycle tyre running without letting it fall.

I would then hide my tyre at the electricity room which had electricity meters whizzing and cobwebs sticking to walls. It was a dark room and I was sure that nobody can steal my tyre from there. I will make such trip between home and aunt's place at least once  a day and rest of the day I will keep on driving it around my home till I am tired or its time for my father to come home.

Things became interesting when my uncle gave me the cycle's steel rim wheel to drive. His cycle had become unusable and was parked at one corner with dirt, dust all over it. I had my eyes on it from a long time and one day I saw him exasperating near it wishing to sell it to Kabari wala and I made a request to give the tyre to me. He gladly took out the steel tyre and gave to me. God bless his soul.

Steel rim tyre was difficult to balance but easy to drive. I just had to hold a stick on the outer grooves of the rim and push it. It will make all sorts of metallic noises whenever it will hit a stone or a tar road. It was kind of level 2 for the tyre lovers and it was kind of show off whenever you run with other tyre drivers.

But then I gave up the steel tyre and switched back to quieter rubber tyres which were easier to hide and easier to sneak out with.

Probably, I am doing the same activity today but in a different way. Metaphorically, I am pushing myself everyday from home to office and back and keeping the life busy and alive in circles. But, am I enjoying it as much as the tyre driving .... nahaaaa ... tyre driving was much more fun than this

I want my tyre back ....:-(
